Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Sector: Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Service: Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Management
AMT Project Group delivered full EPC management for the expansion of an operational food manufacturing facility, including a factory extension, utility upgrades, and the development of a new logistics yard designed to improve site efficiency and support future growth.
A key challenge was completing major construction and infrastructure works within a live production environment where operational continuity could not be compromised. The project required careful planning around restricted site access, limited construction space, active vehicle movements, and ongoing logistics operations. New yard infrastructure, drainage systems, hardstanding areas, and utility connections had to be integrated without disrupting production schedules, delivery routes, or food safety standards. Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and phased works within these logistical constraints demanded meticulous programme management and stakeholder collaboration.
Through comprehensive EPC control, AMT successfully managed the engineering, procurement, construction, and yard development works while maintaining safe site operations throughout. The completed project increased production capacity, enhanced traffic flow and site accessibility, reduced vehicle congestion, and delivered the infrastructure required to support the client's long-term operational growth.
