Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Sector: Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Service: Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Management
AMT Project Group delivered full EPC management for the expansion and enhancement of a processing facility's tank farm infrastructure, increasing storage capacity, improving operational reliability, and supporting future production growth. The project included the installation of new storage tanks, foundations, pipework, valves, instrumentation, fire protection systems, and associated civil and mechanical works, all integrated into the existing processing operation.
A key challenge was expanding and upgrading the existing tank farm while maintaining uninterrupted processing operations and ensuring full compliance with stringent industry regulations. The project required careful coordination of new and existing infrastructure, integration of complex piping and control systems, and phased construction to minimise operational disruption. Additional considerations included maintaining safe access routes, managing multiple contractors within a live industrial environment, and ensuring all installations met API, ASME, and site-specific operational standards.
Through comprehensive EPC control, AMT successfully managed the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of the expanded tank farm. The completed project delivered increased storage capacity, enhanced process efficiency, improved asset reliability, and strengthened safety and environmental performance, providing the client with scalable infrastructure to support long-term operational growth.
